Whetstone Chalet

Very clean & mostly updated condo. Had a clogged drain that made for kind of gross nighttime & morning showers, but host was quick to have the issue resolved the next morning. This is the kind of thing any cleaning person should have noticed if they ran or washed out the shower between guests. Otherwise, nice little condo for a stay focused on skiing & hanging in town afterwards.

Christina's place was great! The room was spotless and was exactly how it was advertised. Location was perfectly nestled off the main road, but still super close to the ski resort! Would definitely stay again.

Great condo felt right at home with beautiful surroundings

Very close to Crested Butte and super quiet. As a Texan I am not used to not having AC, open the door for sure :) Hot tub is not inside condo, it’s in the building.

We truly enjoyed Christina's condo and our stay. Christina is an amazing host too. It was perfectly located for us. Far enough away from Crested Butte and the ski area for privacy but totally walkable to both and close to a lot of incredible hikes, which is what we like to do. The kitchen has got everything you need to make meals. The wifi is fast and having a washer and dryer was helpful to get our clothes clean after our many long hikes. I did want to mention that if you are tall, like my husband, or even short like me (5' 2") the loft bedroom area can be challenging because the ceiling is very low slanted, which I don't think is mentioned in the description but is visible from the photos. There is a smoke detector on the lowest part of the ceiling near the bed and I hit my head on it several times. That said, it is a wonderful space with a sink and a bathroom up in the loft so you don't need to navigate the stairs in the middle of the night. We would definitely stay there again.

Great stay, the hot tub and lake access is a lovely bonus! We enjoyed sitting on the deck and watching the humming birds come by. The views are spectacular and we felt right at home. Thank you, Christina!

Really nice place for a couple. It’s a small place, but it’s well appointed and comfortable. Amazing views of Mount Whetstone. Need to be mobile to access the loft bedroom. Nice that there is a bathroom and sink up there in addition to full bathroom downstairs. We loved the location with access to Lake Grant, a small private lake one block away. We rode our bikes in to Crested Butte, which is a mostly flat 30 minute ride. Driving to town takes 5 minutes.

It's a beautiful place to stay—perfect view, close to trails and downtown. Christina communicated excellently and responded quickly.

The condo was great and exactly as described. The location was perfect. Very peaceful with a beautiful view. Plenty of walking and hiking trails around and an easy drive into the historic downtown area. Christina is an excellent host. She checked in with us to make sure everything was ok and was very responsive to our questions. We would definitely stay here again.

We had an amazing time in Crested Butte. The condo location was perfect, and the views from the balcony were breathtaking. Everything we needed was in the condo. Definitely will be back!

Beautiful space with quality materials and craftsmanship. Quality kitchen and bath items. The kitchen dishes, pots and pans were wonderful! The only drawback was the low ceiling on one side of the bed.

We had a wonderful stay in this condo! A bit before Crested Butte, very calm, beautiful views, great whirlpool and skiresort easy to reach by car or car/free bus starting from CB. The condo was splendid! It has everything you need, super kitchen, good style in furniture (we call it chalet chic) and very clean. It was a pleasure to chat with Christina, she is a great host and reacts very fast! Hope to come back soon!
